Coach Kevin Deschenes - Culinary Arts Teacher / Boys Spring Track and Head Football Coach Graduated from AHS 1978 and Culinary Institute of America 1981. Coach Deschenes began teaching at AHS in 1988 and is returning as the Boys Spring Track coach after a three year hiatus. Coach Deschenes was previously the spring coach from 1992 to 2002. During that time AHS won three consecutive EAC titles from 1997 thru 1999. He also was the Head Winter Track coach from 1991 to 1997. During that time AHS Boys won an EAC league title in 1994 and in 1997, both the Boys and Girls won titles and were undefeated. Coach Deschenes has been a football coach here at AHS for the past eighteen years. While at Attleboro High as a student Kevin Deschenes competed in Spring Track all four years as a pole vaulter earning three varsity letters. He was also a member of the football program, playing center, earning two varsity letters and was inducted into the Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame in 1997. When Coach Deschenes is not at school he enjoys being a fan at his children’s sporting events, playing golf, fishing, cooking and working in his yard with his wife Michelle. Coach Deschenes and his wife has two children, Nicole 17 who is a senior at AHS and Patrick 14 who is in eighth grade at Wamsutta Middle School.
