Attleboro High's boys' and girls' winter track teams were recipients of the Joan Doherty Sportsmanship Award, presented by the Mass. State Track Coaches Association for its team spirit and community involvement. Boys' team captains Stefon Leach and Jared Garber along with girls' team captains Tiffany Slowey and  Megan Brousseau accepted the award for its "You can be part of something great' program to involve underclassmen in all facets of the program, including Special Olympic programs, Sturdy Hospital volunteer services and various fund-raisers...

Blue Pride Bulletin Board:

GO THE DISTANCE

On Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th, Martin Tighe will again, with strong parent and community support, demonstrate how one can strive to achieve meaningful goals. He will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most miles run on a treadmill in 24 hours. The record stands at 154 miles. This new initiative "Go the Distance" is designed to promote community awareness of the importance of completing high school.
